UPWARD BASKETBALL

Upward Sports is the world’s largest Christian youth sports provider. Today, approximately half a million players in 47 states participate in camps, clinics, and leagues through Upward Sports’ Recreation Division. 

The Upward Youth Recreation Basketball League sponsored by Northpointe Church began in 2010 and provides the youth of Bartow and Gordon counties with a positive alternative to Rec Basketball, one that focuses on the child first. 

We provide leagues for both boys and girls in grades 1 through 8.  Our participation rules insure that each athlete gets ample opportunity to play and compete while still providing both a competitive and a learning environment for each child.  Because of this, our leagues appeal to both first time players as well as experienced players.  Our end of season tournament is a highlight of each year as family and friends pack the gym to cheer on their teams.

All of our volunteers – coaches, referees, scorekeepers, etc. – go through a background check before working with the children.  Each year, our leagues have grown and we would love to have you and your children participate!  If you are interested in signing up your child or interested in helping out as a volunteer, please contact us!
